This position is onsite located in Alexandria, VA.\n\"The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000 based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.\"\nJob Responsibilities:\nAssist OUSW(R&E) in developing the Program Objectives Memorandum and Budget Estimate Submission for OUSW(R&E), manage internal R&E budget reviews and change/budget proposals; manage and review budget submission entries in Excel and the applicable databases; and develop and review detailed budget justification material (R-Forms, P-Forms, etc.).\nPrepare analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of programs and operations and analyze financial and budgetary trends.\nPrepare documents and briefings for review and use by DOW senior leadership.\nReview statement of work and required funding documentation for approved OUSW(R&E) projects.\nMonitor and support DOW program execution, including submission of required documentation for release of funding; follow up on distribution of funding, monitoring of obligation and disbursement rates for funded projects, and documentation of annual expenditures.\nAssist in preparation of required documentation to support the DOW PPBE process, to include but not limited to Research and Development Descriptive Summary (R1-R4), Program and Budget Issue Papers, and Support documentation for Program Decision Memorandum.\nPrepare and participate in Mid-Year reviews and other PPBE meetings as required.\nAssist OUSW(R&E) in identifying baseline financial processes and design target financial and business processes and procedures.\nProcess financial and budgetary actions in the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) system and other associated databases.\nAssist in preparing audit readiness preparing associated documentation.\nExecute and follow-up on all budgetary data calls.\n Required Qualifications:\n Secret clearance and US citizenship.\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, business management, or finance.
