The candidate will be responsible for designing, building, operating, and sustaining highly available server environments. The position oversees InfoScale cluster deployments, failover and recovery capabilities, and enterprise server administration.\nResponsibilities:\nPrioritize the work of infrastructure engineers supporting high-availability, server, and lab environments.\nPlan, build, configure, and maintain InfoScale clusters supporting key strategic partners in the NCR.\nDevelop, execute, document, and improve failover, failback, disaster-recovery, and continuity procedures.\nManage physical and virtual servers, including operating-system administration, patching, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and lifecycle replacement.\nOperate and maintain a test lab that mirrors relevant production configurations for integration testing, troubleshooting, validation, and training.\nTroubleshoot complex cluster, server, storage, network, and application-availability issues; coordinate resolution across infrastructure and application teams.\nMaintain system diagrams, build guides, standard operating procedures, configuration baselines, recovery runbooks, and technical documentation.\nTrack system health, availability, vulnerabilities, patch status, incidents, and corrective actions; provide status and risk reporting to leadership.\nCoordinate with cybersecurity, network, storage.\n Required Qualifications:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years or more experience or Masters and 4+ years experience.\n5 years of relevant systems administration experience .\nAbility to work on site five days per week during day-shift hours.\nThis position requires an active DOD TS/SCI clearance. \nActive DoD 8570.01-M/8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, etc.) is required prior to start.\nActive DoD 8140 IAT Level III certification.\nExperience leading infrastructure, systems administration, platform engineering, or operations teams.\nHands-on experience with Veritas InfoScale/Cluster Server or comparable high-availability clustering technologies.\nStrong background in Linux and/or Windows server administration, virtualization, storage, networking, and enterprise monitoring.\nExperience planning and executing cluster builds, maintenance, failover testing, and recovery operations.\nStrong written communication skills for technical documentation, status reporting, and leadership briefings.\nDesired Qualifications:\nActive DoD 8140 IAT Level III certification.\nExperience leading infrastructure, systems administration, platform engineering, or operations teams.\nHands-on experience with Veritas InfoScale/Cluster Server
