The overarching purpose of the program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future. This position is located at Vandenberg SFB, CA.\nJob Responsibilities:\nEnsures the logical and systematic conversion of requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.\nPerforms functional analysis, timeline analysis, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate requirements into hardware and software specification.\nProvides specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements, facility requirements (including floor layout, power cooling, network connectivity), data storage, backup, monitoring, operations systems, directory services, identity management, access management, and automation\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and nine (9) years of IT systems engineering related or equivalent experience or Master’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and seven (7) years of IT systems engineering related or equivalent experience.
