Critical debugging and plan analysis \nExperience with UI development (Javascript/Typescript)\nExtensive skills in JDBC/JPA/Hibernate\nKnowledge of standard design patterns.\nDemonstrated expertise in software engineering practices (e.g., reading/generating software specs, design patterns, continuous integration)\nGitlab/JIRA/Jenkins for CI/CD\nDesired Skills and Experience\nMaster’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus\nExperience with device integration (i.e. fingerprint scanner)\nFirst-hand experience working with large project teams (working with the Federal Government a strong plus)\nDemonstrated ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions to software problems\nAbility to develop and maintain components with stringent performance requirements\nAgile development experience a plus\nAWS ISTIO\nSpring Scheduler\nIBM MQ and Kafka Queues\nDebugging with AWS Kibana\nExperience with NoSQL DBs like MongoDB, DocumentDB, DynamoDB etc.\nThis is a highly technical and hands on position\nCustomer Requirements\nClearance - Ability to obtain and hold a public trust position and favorable suitability based on a CBP Background Investigation\nCitizenship - Must be a US Citizen\nLocation - Required to be on-site in Ashburn, VA 4 days per week for the first year of employment.
