This is a hands-on, fast-paced production environment supporting a mission-critical Department of War program. The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for receiving, tracking, organizing, and managing all materials and inventory in support of active unit production and delivery schedules.\nReceive, inspect, and log all incoming materials and components against the program Bill of Materials (BOM) and purchase orders.\nMaintain accurate inventory records in Excel and SAIC's Integrated Manufacturing Toolkit (IMT) including part numbers, quantities, locations, and status.\nOrganize and stage materials across designated storage locations for efficient retrieval during production.\nTag and label all inventory items with part number identification for traceability.\nCoordinate with Corporate Procurement on incoming shipments, delivery schedules, and material shortages.\nSupport Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) activities by providing accurate inventory counts and location data.\nIdentify and report discrepancies between received materials and purchase orders or BOM requirements.\nSupport production team with material pulls, kitting, and staging for active unit builds.\nMaintain shipping and receiving documentation including packing lists, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.\nCoordinate outbound shipments including unit delivery logistics and material transfers between PCB and Bedford facilities.\nSupport cycle counts and periodic inventory reconciliation.\nAssist with forklift operations and material handling as needed (35k certification preferred).\n Education\nHigh School Diploma or GED required and zero years of experience.\nDesired Experience\n2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory management, or supply chain in a production or manufacturing environment.\nAssociate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.\nExperience with inventory management systems and Excel-based tracking tools.\nExperience receiving and processing materials against purchase orders and packing lists.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting.\nFamiliarity with barcode scanning, part number tagging, and inventory labeling systems.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced production environment with shifting priorities.\nBasic understanding of Bills of Materials (BOM) and production documentation.\nForklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties.\nClearance\nActive SECRET clearance required or ability to
