GMASS supports the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of five Upgraded Early Warning Radars (UEWR), and one Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The ground-based radars are critical to US and Allied strategic missile warning, missile defense, and space domain awareness missions. The Logistics Analyst will continually harmonize on-site support activities with the with the other GMASS program teams. This role is on-site in Colorado Springs five days per week, with remote work allowed during severe weather or other disruptions.\nJob Duties:\nManage Condition Code F (unserviceable/repairable) items received from the sites, from induction through repair completion\n\nCommunicate directly with the Item Manager to obtain and maintain the priority listing of repairable items\n\nCoordinate with engineering leadership to ensure repairs are progressing and to resolve delays\n\nMaintain a repair tracker that gives leadership real-time visibility into repairs\n\nApply knowledge of sparing levels to support repair prioritization and inventory decisions\n\nCommunicate regulatory requirements to GMASS team members to ensure compliance\n\n High school diploma/GED and Two (2) years’ of relevant logistics experience\n\nActive Secret Clearance\n\nWorking knowledge of electronics sufficient to understand common part failure modes and discuss them with engineers\n\nKnowledge of sparing levels and inventory management\n\nWorking knowledge of supply and repair processes, including supply condition codes and repairable item management\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs\n\nDesired\nWorking knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and FIAR\n\nExperience with DoD or government property accountability systems and requirements\n\nExperience supporting radar, space, or missile warning programs\n\nDue to systems limitations actual salary range is
