You will be supporting multiple Navy projects of various scales. You will hone your teamwork skills and gain engineering experience rapidly.\nAs an engineering team member, you will:\nDevelop and maintain drawings and technical documents around specific systems. This will require the direction of drafters and technical writers.\nCapture design requirements using MBSE principles.\nUnderstand and use military and/or commercial specifications in development of drawings as well as understand mechanical stress/strain and how forces acting on parts produce stress/strain. Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is preferred.\nWork with Quality Assurance and Logistics Teams in development of drawings and to identify manufacturing discrepancies to ensure that drawings contain information required by customer.\nManage form fit exercises in development of drawings and technical documentation. This will require direction of engineering technicians and tech writers to develop installation instructions for systems.\nParticipate in weekly/biweekly meetings and effectively communicate project status to stakeholders.\nAbility to work well within a fast paced, team environment.\nParticipate in various formal and informal design and model reviews.\n EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and 0 years related experience.\nBachelors degree and no (0) years or more of experience. Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.\nKnowledge of CAD software. The primary CAD tools used on this project is Solidworks.
