This role places you in a program office where you will support and manage established modeling and simulation activities as well as contribute direct, hands-on simulation support as a member of a fast-paced multidisciplinary mission operations modeling, simulation, and analysis team.\nYour knowledge and background will guide the programs and in-house team’s modeling and simulation activities, assembling and releasing various analysis simulations and trade studies, placing you at the forefront of novel and burgeoning technology development and ultimately helping the Government navigate complex system acquisition throughout the full lifecycle of developmental programs. Join us and help the warfighter realize their needs!\nThe responsibilities for this position include:\nDesign, develop and, or verify simulations and analysis plans, as well as other work products such as gap analyses or Technical Performance Measures (TPM) assessments that enable key program and architectural decisions\nGenerate analytical modeling solutions to assess system/system-of-systems performance and other related performance parameters\nSupport requirements development, system verification, and concept of operations (CONOPS) development and work with system and mission analysts to ensure additional modeling, simulation, analysis capabilities meet operational mission requirements \nIdentify needs and opportunities for independent assessment and improvement of the system and, or system-of-systems/family-of-systems \nIncorporate system models into existing, enterprise models that demonstrate integration into the find, fix, target, track, engage, and assess chain using relevant, related sensor, effects, and communications technologies\nSupport analysis activities by integrating performance models with MBSE models and tools\nQuantify performance impacts and sensitivity to changes in CONOPS, scenarios, and/or threats\nStrong communications skills and the ability to prepare and deliver briefings that cover technical and programmatic subjects to uniformed Space Force and government civilian personnel\nKnowledge and experience with Space Force capabilities, systems, and enterprise architecture elements\n This is you:\nBachelors degree in aerospace, astronautics, mathematics, or physics and fourteen (14) years of experience\nAt least one programming language: MATLAB, Python, Java, C#, or C++\nLive, virtual, and/or constructive (LVC) simulation techniques and technologies\nSimulation development experience with simulation environments such as STK, AFSIM, GMAT, or FreeFlyer\nMATLAB and/or Simulink or other simulation scripting languages\nBeing team leader, with planning work scope, scheduling, progress tracking, and execution\nSatellite orbital mechanics & maneuvers, remote sensing, spacecraft launch/command/control, and/or satellite communications\nEquivalent experience with airborne systems is applicable to this role\nManaging files & directories, network file sharing, installing software & licenses, and command line shell (Windows Cmd or Bash)\nMust have an in-scope security background investigation (TS or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if Qualifications:\nSimulation software development, test, and integration experience in a team environment\nUse of Agile methodology and Atlassian Jira are beneficial\nSystems engineering, with experience defining and executing trade studies\nEngineering methodologies such as Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Multidisciplinary Design Analysis Optimization (MDAO), or Model-Based Design
