The role is based in Washington, DC, with local travel to test sites.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nProvide Program Office management support for T&E and modeling & simulation activities.\nApply advanced modeling techniques and combat system performance modeling to support mission and operational requirements for AEGIS and SSDS.\nDevelop Developmental Tests (DT) from formal requirements for integration into the Unified TestBed.\nConduct systems-of-systems analysis, operational assessments, trade studies, test planning and execution, and system verification & validation (V&V) activities.\nAnalyze test planning documents, establishing clear Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) that align with operational performance expectations.\nCollaborate with stakeholders including Operational Test & Evaluation Force (OTF) to ensure simulation outputs accurately reflect Navy live-fire performance data.\nDevelop tailored TestBed solutions alongside engineers to address unique Navy requirements.\n Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field.\nMinimum 2 years of experience with Navy combat systems, including hands-on involvement with AEGIS, SSDS, or related Navy combat system programs.\nExperience in systems engineering disciplines, including systems-of-systems analysis, combat system performance modeling, system verification & validation, and test planning and execution.\nPrior exposure to Fleet operations or Navy surface combatants (DDG, LHD, LHA, CVN), including:Warfare system certification events\nLive-fire test event support\nOperational Test Readiness (OTR) and Operational Test Direction (OTD) coordination\n\nExperience collaborating with Operational Test & Evaluation Force (OTF) or equivalent test organizations.\nFamiliarity with high-fidelity simulation tools, TestBed architectures, DOORS, Agile/SAFe, configuration management, and data analysis tools (MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C++).\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (Interim required to start).\nAbility to travel annually to Japan, South Korea, Australia, or Spain is required.
