A firm understanding of routing and switching technologies along with security implementation and best practices will be used daily.This role manages daily infrastructure tasks, monitors performance bottlenecks, and supports end-users with connectivity issues.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nCandidate must be familiar with Cisco IOS, IP routing protocols, long haul communication transport, network test equipment and NSA type 1 encryption devices.\nMust have solid technical skills and experience with a variety of network protocols, software, and hardware involved in LAN and WAN operations.\nTroubleshooting and analytic and diagnostic skills, along with good communication \nLayer 1 and Layer 2 network experience (CAT5, SM/MM Fiber, Serial cables, SFP).\nConfigure and troubleshoot layer 2 switching (VLAN’s, Port Security, Thin Configs).\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree + 3 years’ experience or High School Diploma is required and 7 + years of experience.
