Travel within the U.S. and internationally may be required (approx. 25%), along with occasional after hours support.\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nProvide timely patching and remediation of cybersecurity vulnerabilities to ensure the integrity and resilience of Navy afloat network systems.\nProvide break/fix IT support in a fast paced shipboard environment and troubleshoot LAN issues to determine effective resolutions. \nPerform root cause analysis and recommend permanent configuration or system changes when needed. \nDeliver server and network break/fix support, including remote troubleshooting of servers, networks, desktops, and peripheral devices. \nParticipate in technical meetings, prepare progress updates, and deliver briefs and presentations as needed.\n REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience, or a Master’s and 1+ years. 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.\n1+ years of experience supporting military network environments relevant to the listed responsibilities. \nAdministration experience with Cisco switches/routers, Windows Server, or Linux. \nWorking knowledge of core networking concepts and protocols.\nREQUIRED CLEARANCE\nActive Secret Clearance.
