The qualified candidate will provide systems and network administration, troubleshooting, and operational support for enterprise, tactical, and deployable IT environments supporting mission-critical operations. If not already located at the work location, this position requires relocation to Naples, Italy for at least one (1) year.\nJob Responsibilities:\nAdminister, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise, tactical, and deployable IT systems, including systems communicating over satellite and other tactical communications networks.\nProvide technical support to end users; troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, network, virtualization, and enterprise-service issues in accordance with mission requirements and established service levels.\nInstall, configure, upgrade, and maintain hardware, software, operating systems, user accounts, access controls, Microsoft Windows and Linux systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Exchange Server.\nEngineer, configure, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise and carrier-grade Cisco and Juniper routing and switching infrastructure, Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls, including VM-Series virtual firewalls, and other tactical network infrastructure.\nAdminister and maintain VMware ESXi/vSphere virtualization environments and VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).\nSupport C2LAN architectures, C2 networks, tactical IT environments, deployable systems, and mission applications, including the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of KG/TACLANE encryption systems supporting secure tactical communications.\nPlan for and respond to system outages, network disruptions, exercises, deployments, and other contingency operations to restore services and maintain operational readiness.\nMaintain technical documentation, configuration management records, system procedures, and operational readiness documentation in accordance with DoD requirements, while supporting extended hours and alternate work schedules as required for 24/7 mission operations.\n Education and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.\nExperience working in a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar technical role.\nRequired Certifications:\nSecurity+ certification.\nAn IAT Level II or higher certification in addition to Security+.\nDesired Skills and Experience:\nExperience administering and troubleshooting Linux environments.\nExperience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server roles and features supporting enterprise services.\nExperience with VMware ESXi/vSphere and virtualization technologies.\nExperience with VDI, preferably VMware Horizon.\nExperience with Cisco and/or Juniper routing and switching.\nExperience with Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls, including VM-Series virtual firewalls.\nExperience administering and supporting Microsoft Exchange Server.\nExperience supporting C2 networks, tactical IT environments, and deployable systems.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex systems, network, virtualization, and enterprise-service issues in a mission-critical environment.\nExperience with C2LAN, JADOCS, GCCS-J, GSS-M, LMMT, and/or KG/TACLANE is highly desirable.\nRequired Clearance:\nA minimum of Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.\nTop Secret or higher clearance is
