This role is onsite in Washington, D.C.\nJOB DESCRIPTION:\nDesign and deploy reporting tool using provided software capabilities to fuse and present information from various systems through API calls or other authorized data transfer means\nDesign, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions using PowerBI and other tools such as SQL and SharePoint\nAdvanced SQL query writing and design skills including stored procedures, functions, views, tables, and relationships\nDetermine business requirements within BI context and design a data model to transform raw data into meaningful insights\nConvert business requirements into technical specifications and implement them through reports that support decision-making\nCraft and execute queries based on requests for data\nEstablish relationships between data sources and develop tabular and multi multidimensional data models to present information in customer consumable format\nExperience with integration tools and data modeling technology\n Education Requirements:\nBachelor’s and five (5)+ years of experience; additional six (6) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.\nClearance Requirements:\nMust possess an active Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required.\nRequired Skills:\nExperience scripting web applications in Javascript or C++ language\nExperience developing application programming interfaces (API)\nExperience working with PowerBi tools, development, and administration\nExperience developing data presentation\nExperience with SQL (complex joins, math, aggregations, etc.)\nBuilding Analysis Services reporting models\nDeveloping visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop\nConnecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence\n3+ year experience in an Agile organization with a formal Agile methodology is strongly preferred\nDemonstrated ability to construct custom calculations through Power BI DAX\nCertified Power BI / Power Platform certifications are strongly preferred.\nStrong understanding and ability to transform and integrate new and existing data sets\nDemonstrated knowledge of statistical applications\nProven ability to effectively lead and collaborate in a dynamic, fast paced, team oriented environment, with competing priorities\nAbility to solve a variety of complex problems in the absence of technical guidelines and where creative thinking is required\nExperience working with and within virtual or physically dispersed teams preferred.\nGood understanding of REST and Web API’s.\nExperience working with Power Platform applications (Apps, Automate, BI, Pages, etc.) preferred.\nAbility to translate the functional requirements into technical work packages / data models.\nCertified Power BI / Power Platform certifications are strongly preferred.\nRequired Certifications:\nMust have one (1) of the following certifications Network+ CE, Security+ CE, CySA+, OR CASP+
