The Scheduler will support a reconfigurable air defense project by developing, managing, and maintaining project schedules in coordination with program managers and cross-functional teams. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that deliverables are met on time, within budget, and in compliance with SAIC and customer requirements.\nThe ideal candidate has a proven track record in developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex projects, proficiency in leading industry-standard scheduling tools, and the ability to apply scheduling best practices. In addition, the Scheduler should have a strong understanding of critical path management, resource planning, and risk mitigation.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects that enable innovative solutions for governmental, defense, and intelligence operations. This role is hybrid remote requiring the candidate to be in or near Huntsville, AL.\nKey Responsibilities\n Schedule Development and Management: Create, maintain, and update Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project.\nStakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with program managers, engineers, functional teams, contractors, and government customers to gather inputs and ensure schedule alignment with program objectives.\n Critical Path Methodology (CPM): Perform critical path analysis to identify dependencies, constraints, and project risks affecting schedule adherence.\nProgress Tracking: Monitor project activities, anticipate delays or challenges, and report deviations from the project schedule to the program team and functional teams.\nRisk Mitigation: Identify risks of schedule delays, propose mitigation strategies, and incorporate contingency planning.\nReporting: Develop program-related reports, including Gantt charts, status reports, and progress dashboards to track project health.\nBaseline Management: Maintain project schedule baselines and provide performance updates to ensure alignment with contractual obligations and customer objectives.\nResource Alignment: Coordinate the efficient use of resources, analyze resource constraints, and recommend realignment of personnel, equipment, or materials to optimize project execution.\n Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to SAIC's Program Management Office (PMO) standards, federal regulations, and customer processes, including compliance with \n Required:\nBachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a technical discipline) and three (3) years of experience.
