If you are detail-oriented, enjoy working with technical data and inspection tools, and want to contribute to high-consequence programs, this role offers meaningful and visible impact.\nIn this role, you will:\nPerform incoming material receipt inspections\nDocument inspection results and maintain accurate quality records\nCreate and maintain Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when issues are found\nWork closely with engineers, supply chain, and operations to resolve quality issues\nThis position is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who enjoys working with technical drawings, measurement tools, and quality processes in a defense highly regulated environment. You will work under the general direction of engineers or senior quality staff and use a variety of technical documents, standard test and inspection equipment, and quality tools to support daily operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nIncoming Material & Quality Inspection\nPerform incoming inspections of materials, components, assemblies, and equipment to verify compliance with: Engineering drawings and specifications, Purchase order and contract requirements, applicable program and customer standards\nReview and verify supplier documentation, including: Material certifications and certificate of conformance, Test data and inspection reports\nPerform visual and dimensional inspections using standard inspection and test equipment, such as: Calipers, micrometers, height gauges, scales\n Required Education and Experience:\nEducation & Experience (one of the following):\nOption 1\nAssociate Degree in Engineering Technology, or formal electronics training from:\n--- Technical School, or\n--- Class A or B military school in electronics or communications\n-- Three (3) years of practical experience in laboratory testing, manufacturing, or maintenance\nOR\n Option 2\nHigh School diploma or GED\n-- Five (5) years of practical experience in laboratory testing, manufacturing, or maintenance.\nTechnical Skills & Abilities\nPractical experience applying basic engineering or technical principles to inspection, testing, or maintenance tasks\nAbility to work from engineering drawings, technical orders, manuals, specifications, and schematics to perform inspection or technical duties\nExperience performing visual and dimensional inspections using common measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales)\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints, specifications, and quality/technical documentation\nStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow established technical procedures and workinstructions\nProficient in basic computer skills (e.g., using email, entering data into spreadsheets, quality databases, or ERP systems\nU.S. Citizenship and ability to meet applicable government/customer access and background investigation requirements\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in a defense, aerospace, or other highly regulated environment\nWorking knowledge of basic quality tools, such as: Non-conformance control, Corrective and preventative actions (CAPA), Root cause analysis, Basic sampling concepts\nFamiliarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management system (QMS)\nExperience with ERP or quality management software for recording inspections and NCRs\nStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineers, suppliers, and production/warehouse staff\nDemonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple inspections in a fast-paced environment\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nWork is performed in warehouse, lab, and/or production environments- May involve exposure to: Industrial noise, Moving equipment, Stored materials\nAbility to: Stand, walk, bend, and handle materials during inspection activities, Lift up to [30-40] lbs as required, Use of appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) as required by work area and company
