The Quality Engineer collaborates closely with design, manufacturing, test, and supply chain teams to improve processes, reduce defects, and ensure consistent, high-quality output of complex electro-mechanical systems.\nKey Duties & Responsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain quality plans, inspection criteria, and test procedures for electro-mechanical test equipment.\nReview engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and specifications to ensure clear, testable quality requirements.\nPerform in-process and final inspections of mechanical assemblies, wiring, harnesses, and functional performance.\nAnalyze quality data (defects, yields, test results) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nLead root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformances.\nSupport supplier quality activities, including evaluation of incoming materials and components.\nEnsure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001, customer and internal quality requirements).\nTrain and support production and test technicians on quality standards, procedures, and workmanship criteria.\n Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience; years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.\nMust have the ability to obtain SECRET clearance.\nProven experience in quality assurance roles; supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.\nIn-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.\nFamiliarity with industry-specific standards and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.).\nStrong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nProficiency in MS Office Suite and quality management software (e.g., QMS platforms).\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.\nCombination of office and [factory/manufacturing floor/laboratory] environments;
