This technician will provide high level support for MK-53, MK-59 and LEED.\nJob Description:\nSupport engineering activities such as design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electronic and mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. Applications may include electronic circuits, photonics and logic systems. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. . Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Collects, maintains, organizes, compiles, and manipulates technical data. Prepares engineering documentation, reports, drawings (sketches/flow charts/diagrams/schematics, etc.). Performs mathematical calculations per engineering specifications. Undertakes analysis of data where guidelines are provided.\nJob duties include the ability to:\nTroubleshooting and repair of on-site and shipboard assets/systems.\nShipboard installations, test events and sea trails.\nProvide a high level of Fleet Support, spanning testing, modernization, maintenance, and decommissioning.\nPerform CSSQT and ORDALT.\nInventory tracking and kitting of materials.\nOCONUS and CONUS travel up to 50% for NAVSEA support (Monday-Friday only)\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nAA degree in related discipline and nine (9) years related experience;
