This role requires a highly motivated individual to lead system requirements analysis, architecture design, integration, and testing while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to execute mission-critical projects. This role supporting the U.S. Space Force’s Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) mission area ground segment interfaces with both a prime contractor and USSF stakeholders to deploy next-generation OPIR capabilities. Location is either in Boulder, Colorado or Dayton, Ohio.\nResponsibilities:\nCoordination with the acquisition program office and operational end-users to elicit, detail, and document operational concepts and stakeholder needs for the operation of a MOSA architecture hosting high-performance data processing applications.\n\nDevelopment and analysis of system requirements which address identified stakeholder needs.\n\nSupport to SW development teams in the design of system architectures which meet established requirements and align with customer concepts of operations.\n\nCoordination with integration, verification, and test teams to support requirements verification and validation.\n\nManaging the documentation of operational concepts, stakeholder needs, system requirements, and system architecture using Model-Based Systems Engineering tools\n\nStaff mentoring and process improvement within the systems engineering team\n\n Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.\nMinimum of 5+ years of experience in systems engineering with a strong track record of leading complex projects.\nActive Secret Clearance\nDemonstrated expertise in requirements analysis, system design, and integration.\nExperience in working within an Agile development environment and applying systems engineering best practices.\nKnowledge of DoD processes and standards, including working with classified systems.\nMaster’s degree in a technical field or MBA with technical credentials.\n10+ years of relevant experience across multiple domains, including space systems, C4ISR, or AI/ML integration.\nFamiliarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like Cameo Systems Modeler or similar.\nDesired:\nMaster’s degree in a technical field or MBA with technical credentials.\n10+ years of relevant experience across multiple domains, including space systems, C4ISR, or AI/ML
