is seeking a Senior Field Engineer in Portsmouth, VA.\nJob Duties:\nBuild and test hardware and software for Windows and Nutanix based systems.\nPatching for computer and network devices.\nPITCO testing and setup of hardware.\nTroubleshoot technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications.\nTroubleshoot serial connections.\nTroubleshoot network connectivity.\nTroubleshoot RF and time systems.\nLog and respond to site tickets.\nTroubleshoot legacy hardware and repair units for system sustainment.\nAssesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications.\nActs as local on-site representative to customer organization.\nParticipates in on site system integrations.\nDevelops and updates system and process documentation as needed.\n Qualifications:\nRelated bachelor's and nine (9) years or more experience or Master's degree and seven (7) years or more experience.\nTechnical Training in Electronics, Computers, or Networking or successful completion of U.S. Navy electronics “C” school.\nExperience in C4I Systems environments to include: systems requirements, operational requirements, test and evaluation.\nMust be able to obtain a CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP certification within 6 months of hire.\nMust have an active Secret security clearance to start and then must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.\nExperience building and installing infrastructure.\nMust be able to obtain U.S. Passport.\nUp to 25% CONUS/OCONUS travel
