The candidate will take a key role in expanding the scale and accelerate the pace of our research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) supporting national security client projects at our facility in Upper Marlboro, MD and at other locations within the continental US. This role offers the opportunity to work with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, data scientists, and AI scientists and contribute to innovative technology development and experimentation.\nResponsibilities\nCoordinate with software engineering teams to configure, deploy, and test applications and microservices on on-premises infrastructure and on cloud platforms.\nDevelop and maintain configuration documentation and software test plans.\nPerform and document tests of APIs and microservices, including containerized services, communicate issues to development teams, and follow up to ensure resolution.\nCoordinate testing activities with ongoing IDSL projects and priorities set up by program and technical leadership.\nContribution to maintenance of software testing environments.\nFacilitate seamless code promotion into production by communicating issues identified by testing and verifying resolution.\nSupport cross-functional teams by ensuring that our software products are tested and ready to meet changing research needs and client requirements.\n Required:\nBachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 5+ years of experience or Master of Science (MS) with 3+ years of experience.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust requiring U.S. Citizenship\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with teams across locations.\nTechnical Requirements\nStrong experience testing and configuring software on premises and at field locations sites.\nStrong experience with at least one programming language (e.g., GO).\nExperience testing both front end and back end software products.\nExperience testing APIs using tools like Postman.\nExperience testing IoT and USB device integrations.\nExperience with performance and load testing using tools like Gatling.\nExperience with test automation suites such as Seleneum.\nExperience with agile software development and tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or similar.\nUnderstanding with event-driven systems or distributed architectures.\nUnderstanding of infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.\nFamiliarity with identity management principles and tools such as Active Directory.\nFamiliarity with DevSecOps
