responsiveness\n\nWrite unit and end-to-end tests and participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and security scanning\n\nCollaborate with back-end developers, Information Management staff, and stakeholders to translate requirements into user-friendly solutions\n\nMentor junior developers and recommend front-end tools, frameworks, and best practices\n\nFollow documented standard operating procedures (SOPs) and recommend improvements to repeatable processes\n\nCollaborate with Information Management staff, system developers, QA, and security teams to ensure accurate flow of data and metadata across system environments\n\nMaintain technical documentation, release notes, and runbooks\n\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (4 years experience in lieu of degree)\n\n8+ years of related experience in front-end or UI development\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust requiring U.S. Citizenship\n\nExpert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)\n\nStrong experience with React and/or Angular, including state management and API integration\n\nExperience building and consuming REST/JSON APIs\n\nExperience with responsive design, CSS preprocessors, and build tools (npm, Webpack, Vite)\n\nStrong understanding of Section 508 / WCAG accessibility standards and assistive technology testing (e.g., JAWS, NVDA)\n\nExperience with Git and CI/CD workflows\n\nExperience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress)\n\nFamiliarity with secure coding practices\n\nDesired:\nExperience with Drupal theming (Twig) or other CMS front ends\n\nExperience with UX/UI design tools (e.g., Figma) and design systems\n\nExperience with Google Analytics or similar tools\n\nBasic PHP knowledge\n\nExperience in federal or government web environments\n\nAccessibility certification such as IAAP WAS or DHS Trusted
