The overarching purpose of the program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future. This position is located in Santa Maria, CA.\nJob Responsibilities:\nPerform electrical and mechanical (signal, power & thermal) analysis at the rack level.\nOversees installation and testing activities, attending planning reviews, engineering checkouts, functional testing, and walkdowns to verify system integrity and interface functionality.\nGeneration of engineering drawings in accordance with ASME and IEEE standards, including rack assembly drawings, interconnect wiring diagrams and custom cable assemblies.\nAbility to support system integration, test, development, and execution of various types of complex communications systems.\nDevelops technical solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.\nProvide lab and site integration, test, and maintenance support.\nParticipate in troubleshooting systems to resolve complex issues, interact, and coordinate with engineers responsible for sustaining sub-systems.\n YPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
