Must be local to area. Role requires up to 25% of travel.\nJOB DUTIES:\nIntegration and WAN Transport: Engineer scalable, resilient network integration solutions including IPSEC/VPN, WAN, SD-WAN, Black Core and hybrid-cloud topologies.\nImplementation & Deployment: Lead the configuration, and migration of Navy Systems and Sites into the SD-WAN Fabric.\nNetwork Security: Ensure integration configurations comply with the current accreditation authorization.\nOperations & Engagement: Work with the core Shore Based Engineering team to articulate changes in the environment to accommodate integration of customers\nAutomation & SRE: Leverage scripting languages and configuration management frameworks (e.g., Python, Ansible, or Terraform) to automate repetitive infrastructure tasks and deployments.\nTest and Evaluation: Generate comprehensive Test Plans to ensure testing rigor. Produce Test Reports to present to the engineering team and Configuration Boards\nDocumentation: Produce and maintain comprehensive network architecture diagrams, technical manuals, and configuration artifacts.\n REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation and years of experience:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and fourteen (14) years or more of related experience.
