The Software Engineer will assist in the evaluation, system design, and software engineering support to transition, primarily open source, software prototypes and algorithms to a proprietary r infrastructure for deployment throughout the organization.\nThis position is located in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.\nJob responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nInstall externally developed web applications on a cloud environment infrastructure. \nEnsure the web applications communicates with external and internal databases, using API keys.\nModify the web applications as required and be able to work independently on the project as needed.\nProvide front end development to host models and connect APIs in order to demo and transition tools in software. \nUtilize AI/ML models to integrate with front-end development. TRAVEL: Local travel/POV will be on an as needed basis, within the local place of performance.\nLocal travel as needed.\nBachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.\nActive TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.\nDemonstrated experience with full stack web development using JavaScript, PHP, R, Python, NodeJs, and/or MongoDB.\nDemonstrated experience working with client-side code such as Angular, Bootstrap, Material, jQuery. \nDemonstrated experience with REST APIs and data ETL.\n Demonstrated experience with Linux System Administration and associated scripting languages (Bash).\nDemonstrated experience with NoSQL and MySQL databases. \nDemonstrated experience with web app installation and deployment. \nDemonstrated experience with web-based software development. \nDemonstrated hands-on experience working within cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar. \n Demonstrated experience and knowledge of AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) models.\nDesired Skills:\nDemonstrated experience with Cloud-based Relational Database Services (RDS). 2.
