You will work as part of an integrated Agile/SAFe development and test team, collaborating with developers, testers, and business analysts to ensure the quality and reliability of custom-developed software.\nThe ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality, with strong experience in both manual and automated testing.\nResponsibilities:\nAnalyze complex business and technical requirements and design documents to develop detailed manual test cases and automated test scripts\nPerform manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing; document actual results; and log defects in the defect tracking system\nDesign, create, and maintain Selenium and Playwright automated test suites (UI and/or API as applicable)\nWork with Java-based applications to design and maintain appropriate test frameworks and scripts\nExecute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., via GitHub workflows/actions); analyze results, triage failures, and report issues\nExecute load and performance tests as needed, and contribute to performance analysis and reporting\nTrack defects from creation through closure, with clear documentation and close collaboration with developers to reproduce and resolve issues\nDeploy software to test environments, monitor application and server logs, and identify errors or unexpected behaviors\nParticipate in test case and test script peer reviews to ensure completeness, accuracy, and traceability to requirements\nAssist the Test Lead in:Developing and maintaining release test plans\nCreating and maintaining the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)\nManaging the regression test suite (manual and automated)\nPreparing test summary reports at the end of each testing phase\n\nSupport internal quality assurance checks on deliverables to ensure they are complete, accurate, and adhere to client and SAIC standards\nCollaborate with business analysts on business and functional requirements and with developers on technical requirements\nWork within a SAFe/Agile environment, participating in ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and contributing to continuous improvement\nSupport testing of integrated solutions involving technologies such as Pentaho, Liferay, and PowerApps where applicable\n Required Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree)\n2+ years of total IT experience\n2+ years of experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust requiring U.S. Citizenship\nStrong experience with both manual and automated testing\nStrong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies\nProven ability to analyze complex requirements/designs and create detailed test cases and scripts\nDemonstrated experience executing test cases, documenting results, identifying defects, and producing test reports\nHands-on experience creating and maintaining automated tests using Selenium\nHands-on experience creating and maintaining automated tests using Playwright (or demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up)\nExperience testing or working with Java-based applications\nExperience with GitHub (e.g., GitHub repos, branching, pull requests, basic CI/CD workflows)\nExperience with configuration management and version control tools such as the Atlassian suite, JIRA, and/or Subversion (SVN)\nBasic knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\nAbility to work effectively in a dynamic, priority-shifting, deadline-driven environment\nStrong organizational, presentation, and business analysis skills\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience with or exposure to:Pentaho (ETL, data integration, or reporting)\nLiferay (portal/content management solutions)\nMicrosoft PowerApps (low-code business applications)\n\nFamiliarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or other Agile methodologies\nExperience creating and editing technical documentation and user manuals for new or upgraded
