The Software Tester will be responsible ensuring the product meets requirements and increasing the quality of product releases. This position has the additional responsibility eliciting, documenting, and managing product requirements. This role can be worked remotely anywhere within the United States. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.\nPrimary ResponsibilitiesDevelops and executes comprehensive test plans, schedules, cases, and procedures to ensure products meet end-user requirements.\n\nWrites test scripts and identifies required test data for various scenarios.\n\nConducts walkthroughs of test cases and scripts with Test Managers, Requirements Leads, Project Managers, and Development Leads.\n\nPerforms and leads software testing activities to verify proper operation and identify defects.\n\nExecutes verification activities using defined methods, procedures, and criteria.\n\nDocuments, communicates, and supports analysis of test results, including resolution of open issues.\n\nInvestigates, documents, and works to resolve complex problems, reporting progress to management.\n\nCreates and maintains test metrics and reports.\n\nApplies techniques such as interviews and workshops to elicit and clarify requirements.\n\nDocuments product requirements in the designated repository and manages changes to requirement baselines.\n\nConducts peer reviews of requirements and test cases.\n\nValidates requirements with stakeholders and communicates them to software engineers for implementation.\n\nParticipates in product planning meetings and Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.\n\nDocuments requirements for existing product functionality.\n\nIdentifies and recommends improvements to current procedures and develops models for future configurations.\n\n Bachelor’s degree with five or more years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with three or more years of experience.\n\nCandidates must be U.S. Citizens\n\nCandidates must be able to get a secret clearance.\n\nExperience performing both manual and automated software testing.\n\nHands-on experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.\n\nExperience eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements.\n\nProficiency with Jira, Confluence, and other requirements/defect tracking tools.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.\n\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.\n\nAbility to obtain a Secret security clearance within one year of employment.\n\nPass CompTIA Security Plus examination within 90 days of employment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience using Playwright and/or other automated testing tools.\nExperience creating automated test scripts.\nExperience testing AI-related products.\nHas worked as both a software tester and requirements
