This is a 100% Remote role.\nJob Description:\nDevelop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test procedures for healthcare applications operating in MUMPS/InterSystems Caché environments.\nValidate software enhancements, maintenance releases, defect corrections, and system upgrades.\nSupport functional, integration, regression, user acceptance, system, and end-to-end testing activities.\nVerify data integrity across legacy healthcare applications, databases, interfaces, and external systems.\nTest healthcare interoperability transactions utilizing HL7, FHIR, EDI, and related industry standards.\nParticipate in Beta/IOC testing with healthcare facilities and end users, documenting results and coordinating issue resolution.\nAnalyze and troubleshoot software defects, integration failures, and production incidents.\nCollaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and end users to validate requirements and test objectives.\nDevelop test data and test environments supporting healthcare workflows and business processes.\nExecute manual and automated testing activities where applicable.\nTrack, document, and communicate testing metrics, defects, risks, and status reports.\nValidate integrations involving VistA, FileMan, healthcare messaging platforms, and external partner systems.\nSupport root cause analysis and verification of software fixes.\nReview system requirements and technical specifications to ensure testability and complete coverage.\nContribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, procedures, and quality standards.\nProvide technical leadership and guidance on testing strategies for healthcare and government systems.\n Education and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field or 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.\n10+ years of software testing, quality assurance, or system validation experience.\nExperience supporting healthcare, government, or other highly regulated environments.\nExperience testing enterprise applications supporting clinical, benefits, or healthcare operations.\nExperience supporting legacy applications and long-lived mission-critical systems.\nMust be a US Citizen and able to maintain a Public Trust\nPreferred:\nExperience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) systems.\nExperience supporting VistA and FileMan applications.\nISTQB, CSTE, CSQA, or similar testing certification.\nExperience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.\nRequirements:\nCore Technical\nExperience testing applications developed using MUMPS and/or InterSystems Caché.\nExperience validating healthcare business workflows and system functionality.\nExperience developing detailed test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and test cases.\nExperience performing functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.\nUnderstanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.\nExperience validating database updates and data integrity.\nAbility to analyze system logs, application errors, and test results to identify root causes.\nExperience testing interfaces and system integrations.\nKnowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including: HL7\nFHIR\nHIPAA EDI Transactions\n\nExperience validating EDI healthcare transactions, including: 278 Prior Authorizations\n275 Attachments\n\nExperience utilizing defect tracking and test management tools such as: Jira\nAzure DevOps\nHP ALM\nTestRail\n\nExperience creating testing metrics, dashboards, and status reports.\nStrong documentation skills.\nHealthcare and VA Experience\nKnowledge of healthcare operational workflows.\nFamiliarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.\nExperience supporting VistA environments.\nExperience
