Your work will center on adapting and updating existing assets and infrastructure to support the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) missile systems deployed on the new Columbia/Dreadnaught class submarines. You will be primarily on-site at the Crane Naval Base, working directly with the Government Customer, with occasional travel to SAIC’s facility in Bedford, IN.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nApply strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment with evolving deadlines and priorities.\nWork directly with customers to understand and clarify requirements, develop execution plans, and provide clear, timely status updates.\nPrepare Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to update and revise official drawings.\nPerform Failure Analysis and recommend effective corrective actions.\nDevelop Quality Acceptance documents using drawings and program requirements to validate new hardware.\n REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and zero (0) years of experience.\nMust be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and work well independently and as part of a team.\nInterim secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
