Technical skill matters, but so does how you work with others: we're looking for someone curious who genuinely enjoys collaborating and learning alongside the team.\nResponsibilities:\nPlan and drive architecture decisions in mayor changes on the VMware platform, including networking, storage and cluster configuration areas.\nManage the day-to-day tasks in the VMware environment such as monitoring, addressing alerts and supporting the full VM lifecycle (provisioning through decommissioning).\nApply working knowledge of enterprise storage (NAS and SAN), including basic provisioning, permissions, and protocol-level troubleshooting (NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI), coordinating with the storage owner/team as needed.\nOwn backup operations using Veeam (job configuration, monitoring, retention, restore testing) and support broader disaster recovery processes.\nTroubleshoot issues across the hypervisor, VM, and storage layers, performing root-cause analysis (RCA) on recurring or major incidents.\nManage patch cycles and version upgrades for VMware, backup, and OS environments, including rollback planning where needed.\nPerform hardware-level tasks as needed (installation, troubleshooting, component replacement) for servers and storage arrays.\nDevelop and maintain VM templates of Windows and Linux in different OS versions.\nUse ServiceNow to manage incidents, requests, and changes, ensuring tickets stay accurate and up to date throughout their lifecycle.\nMaintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and changes.\nIdentify opportunities for efficiency or automation and help implement them.\nProvide occasional after-hours/on-call support as needed.\n Requirements:\n3-5 years of systems administration experience, with meaningful time in VMware environments.\nExperience beyond VM administration, driving architecture changes (such as host updates upgrades, storage provisioning and networking components)\nWorking knowledge of storage systems (NAS/SAN);
