The System Engineer would be responsible for creating solutions for the integration of system level components and addressing complex problem-solving issues to integrate legacy systems with newer technologies.\nAn active Interim Secret clearance is required.\nGENERAL OVERVIEW:\nCoordinate, integrate and assist in the management of technical efforts being performed to ensure that identified needs are transformed into effective and life-cycle optimized systems.\nEnsure compatibility of all functional and physical interfaces (internal and external).\nConfirm that the system’s definition and design reflect the requirements for all systems elements (hardware, software, data, facilities, etc.).\nEnsure that engineering efforts follow the Systems Engineering process.\nWork in a multifaceted team with many stakeholders (engineering, logistics, manufacturing, contractor, program leadership) in problem solving efforts for designated aspects of complex problems with many competing objectives, variables, and constraints.\nDocument solutions in relation to the technical, cost, and schedule constraints.\nDevelopment and review of various technical documentation, including change management documentation, presentation materials, and white papers.\nParticipate in, and assist in activities for various segments of program execution, which may include Risk Management, Configuration Management, Data Management, Trade-off Analysis/Trade Studies, Technical Performance Measures, Technical Reviews, and Modeling & Simulation.\nCommunicate with stakeholders across program offices, fleet and industry stakeholders.\n REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor's and 5+ years of related experience, years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.\nInterim Secret Clearance required.\nPREFFERED EXPERIENCE:\nPrefer resume demonstrates greater than 15 years of professional experience in the acquisition and integration of ALRE equipment onto ACS/AAS platforms.\nExperience interfacing with NAVSEA, USCG, USMC, and MSC
