Candidates will collaborate with internal team, government personnel, and subcontractors.\nJob Duties:\nUtilizing quantitative and qualitative risk assessment techniques to perform safety analysis in accordance with MIL-STD-882E and other guidance.\nAnalysis of hardware, software, firmware, and system interfaces to identify hazards to personnel, equipment, and the environment, to include supplemental analysis techniques such as fault tree analyses, failure modes and hazardous effects analyses, and sneak circuit analyses.\nReview System Requirements documentation to identify potential hazardous conditions and make recommendations to system design in collaboration with program staff.\nPerforming operational analyses and studies to identify potential deficiencies in operating procedures, handling procedures, stowage or other logistics phases.\nReviewing and analyzing system safety management and program plans, safety analyses, accident and incident data, mishap investigation reports, safety test plans and results, and other ESOH related data.\nPreparing or updating risk assessment reports, safety assessment reports, and presentation materials for formal submission.\nConducting or reviewing safety assessment of new, updated, and/or modified hardware and software, waivers, and exemption requests.\n Qualifications:\nBachelor of Science (or higher) degree in engineering or a technical-related field and two (2) or more years experience.\nCandidate must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain SECRET level clearance.
