This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with structured content (XML/HTML), technical data, and modern digital authoring tools.\n Key Responsibilities:Create, edit, and format technical manuals and related content using XML-based tools (e.g., Arbortext Editor) and structured authoring workflows.\n\nApply DoD and program standards (e.g., MIL-STD-3001, MIL-STD-40051, MIL-STD-38784, S1000D) to ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and compliant.\n\nIntegrate tables, flowcharts, and graphics/illustrations using tools like Adobe FrameMaker, Photoshop, and Illustrator.\n\nProduce final digital outputs (PDF and other formats) that meet GPO style and program requirements.\n\nWork within digital content management and configuration management systems to manage versions and publication lifecycles.\n\nCollaborate with engineers, technical writers, and software developers to translate engineering drawings, system/software documentation, and other technical inputs into clear, usable documentation.\n\nSupport document control activities, including change tracking, deficiency reports, and quality assurance.\n\n EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nAssociate’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience\nOR equivalent experience in a technical or digital authoring discipline (e.g., computer science, software/Systems documentation, technical publishing).\n\nExperience with XML authoring and Arbortext Editor (or similar structured authoring tools).\n\nFamiliarity with DoD technical publications and standards.\n\nAbility to travel up to ~20%.\n\nU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance (Interim Secret to start).\n\nDesired Skills:\nProvisioning and logistics documentation;
