In this role, you will provide writing, editing, and communications support across the program, ensuring that all documentation meets the highest standards of quality, clarity, and compliance with applicable government and editorial specifications. The successful candidate will bring a complete understanding of communications and technical writing principles and the ability to manage multiple documentation priorities in a dynamic program environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nEdit, proofread, and provide writing support for the conceptualization, layout, and preparation of high-quality graphics, text, and templates for technical and non-technical documents in support of the SLCM-N program\nDesign, prepare, and create new media projects and support the development of technical documents including manuals, procedures, specifications, and program plans\nCheck drafts for format, clarity, and overall cohesiveness; ensure documents meet editorial and government specifications and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style\nProduce and/or revise technical articles, proposals, publications, books, manuals, reports, and marketing materials\nDetermine project requirements and present drafts of finished products to users, ensuring high quality of output\nReview rough drafts produced by technical staff and make constructive suggestions for improvement\nDesign and develop multimedia applications, systems, and products involving computer graphics and interactive computing using a variety of new media software applications, techniques, and tools\nCollaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, and program managers to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of content\nManage multiple documentation projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines\nSupport configuration management and document control processes\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, or related field with 6 or more years of related experience;
