In this role, your typical day will involve leading the design, implementation, and optimization of our Salesforce ecosystem, which includes Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ. You will act as the technical anchor, translating complex business needs into scalable, secure, and high-quality technical architectures. You will write and review Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC), design integrations and APIs, and work collaboratively with global stakeholders to unlock the maximum potential of our Salesforce platform.\nAbout the team\nYou will join our high-performing Enterprise Applications and Business IT team. This global team of dedicated developers, administrators, and business analysts is committed to driving operational excellence across SailPoint's core systems. We collaborate closely with cross-functional business stakeholders to design and build automated, efficient enterprise workflows. We operate in an agile environment that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, providing you with a supportive network to deliver high-impact results.\nRequirements\nBachelors degree in related field, or equivalent professional experience\n\nMinimum of 13 years of experience on the Salesforce platform, with a proven track record in solution design and architecture\n\nStrong, hands-on knowledge of Salesforce configurations, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)\n\nProven experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs, and enterprise-grade third-party integration tools\n\nDeep familiarity with multiple Salesforce clouds, specifically Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ\n\nActive Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect credentials\n\nPreferred Skills\nActive Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification\n\nUnderstanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts\n\nKnowledge of SailPoint's identity security products and how they integrate with Salesforce\n\nStrong experience working within Agile development methodologies and modern DevOps pipelines\n\nExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with global stakeholders\n\nRoadmap for success :\nFirst 30 days:\nMaster the technical stack by completing a deep-dive review of our Salesforce ecosystem (Sales, Service, CPQ) and existing integrations to understand operational workflows.\n\nAlign with Product Owners and business stakeholders to map out strategic project roadmaps and backlog priorities for the upcoming quarters.\n\nLearn and adopt internal DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, release management protocols, and environment strategies.\n\nEstablish collaborative working patterns by conducting introductory meetings and technical syncs with developers, administrators, and business analysts.\n\nBy 60 days:\nPartner with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce architectural designs.\n\n6 months:\n\nLead and deliver at least one high-impact, strategic Salesforce architectural initiative from conception to successful production deployment.\n\nOptimize system performance by identifying, diagnosing, and resolving platform bottlenecks, reducing technical debt by 15% across core modules.\n\nDesign and implement at least two reusable integration frameworks or API patterns to streamline data flow between Salesforce and downstream business applications.\n\nEstablish long-term system health monitoring configurations and DevOps enhancements to support automated testing and environment alignment.\n\nBy 1 year:\nOwn the overall Salesforce architecture roadmap, aligning platform capabilities with SailPoint's long-term business and enterprise systems goals.\n\nFoster a proactive engineering culture by implementing intelligent automation patterns to reduce manual development or operational tasks.\n\nAudit and modernize data management strategies, including the optimization of data modeling, data sharing rules, and archiving processes.\n\nConduct architectural reviews for all major platform enhancements, ensuring 100% compliance with security, scalability, and enterprise standards.\n\nDrive solution quality by performing regular code reviews of Apex and LWC, advocating for development best practices, and mentoring junior developers on architectural guardrails.\n\nFacilitate sprint delivery by collaborating with the Scrum team to resolve technical impediments, refine technical user stories, and ensure predictable releases.\n\nAbout SailPoint India and our Benefits:\nNestled in the heart of Pune, a bustling hub of technology and culture, the office exemplifies SailPoint's commitment to excellence.
