Responsibilities:

• Responsibleforcharacterizing thetechnicalqualityof theSailPointproduct.
• Responsibleforthedevelopment, maintenance,and executionoftestsandtestharnesses.
• ShouldhavehandsonexperienceonWindows,UNIX/LINUXOS.
• Abilityto Createdetailed, comprehensiveand well-structured testplansand testcases.
• Estimate,prioritize,plan,andcoordinatetestingactivities.
• Shouldhaveabilitytodebugandsolvetheconfigurationprobleminproductenvironment.
• Hands-on experiencewithautomatedtestingtools
• Planningandexecutingfunctional,regressionandsystemleveltests
• Abletoapplysolidanalyticalandproblem-solvingskillstodevelopcreative&thoroughtestcases.
• Working&followingScrum/Agilesoftwaredevelopment methods.
• Test environment configuration including install and setup of application servers and database servers on Windows or Unix/Linux OS.
• Developingdetailedtestcases fromfunctionalrequirements,technicalspecifications andapplicationbehaviour/constraints,provenabilitytodeveloptest plans.
• Skillsinreviewingtechnicaldocumentationforaccuracyandthoroughness.
• Shouldhaveassertive,analyticalyetpracticalapproach.
• ExperiencewithSecuritytesting isplus.
• Experienceworkingwithdistributedteamwithregularinteractions.
• Familiarity/fluencywithoneormoreofthemajorapplicationservers(WebLogic,WebSphere,Tomcat,etc.)
• Familiarity/fluency with one or more of the major database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server)
• Familiaritywithfollowingtechnologies:
  • Software-basedtesting(includingunittesting,automation,performancetesting)
  • Servervirtualization

• Advantages-Provenknowledgeandexperienceinthefollowingsubjects:
  • Familiarity/fluencywithcommercialsecurityapplications/infrastructureproductsandexperiencewiththemonitoring/management/deploymentof said products highly desirable.

Work experience: 5-8 years

Desiredprofileofthecandidate:

• Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationsskills
• Detailoriented withstrong organizationalskillsandableto workindependently on multipletasksunder minimalsupervision
• Shouldhavegooddiagnosticskills.
• ShouldbeabletoadjustworkingschedulewhennecessarytocommunicateandworkwithSailPointofficesinUS.

Whatsuccesslookslikeintherole: Within the first 30 days you will:

• Onboardintoyournewrole,getfamiliarwithourproductofferingandtechnology,proactivelymeetpeersandstakeholders,setupyourtestand developmentenvironment.
• Gothroughtheproductspecifictrainingstounderstandtheproductfeatures
• Workwiththebuddytounderstandspecificteamprocesses.

By 90 days:

• GetdeeperunderstandingofthespecificfunctionalareathatyouarepartofSeektodeeplyunderstandbusinessproblems
• Proactively collaborateon, discuss, debateand refineideas, problemstatements with different(sometimes many) stakeholders, architects andmembers of your team.
• Collaboratecloselywithproductmanagers,softwareengineers,andotherstakeholderstodefinetestrequirements,resolveissues,andensureproper integration of testing processes.

By6months:

• Occasionallyserveasadebuggingexpertduringescalationsofsystemsissuesthathaveevadedtheabilityoflessexperiencedengineerstosolveinatimelymanner.
• CollaborateswithProductManagementandEngineeringManagertoproduceaprioritizedteamroadmap.
