In this role you will manage a dedicated team.\nHow can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:\nSupport pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and operation activities. Execute technical tasks assigned by the Project Commissioning and Operation Lead, including preparation of plans, procedures, system dossiers, operating instructions and test run activities.\nEnsure compliance with HSE requirements. Support HSE reviews, PSSR meetings and field safety observations, ensuring all activities are performed in line with safety and environmental requirements.\nInterface with engineering, vendors, licensors and subcontractors. Coordinate technical matters with internal disciplines and external parties to support commissioning, operation and maintenance readiness.\nProvide engineering and troubleshooting support. Identify solutions to technical problems during commissioning or operations, support root cause analysis, and contribute to corrective actions for operational issues.\nReview and maintain technical documentation. Review operating manuals, procedures, HSE plans, commissioning spare parts and consumables lists, and keep engineering documents updated through red-marking and feedback from site activities.\nWhat are we looking for?\nFor a Commissioning Engineer we are looking for a profile who can combine commissioning execution, operations mindset and maintenance engineering support.\nSolid commissioning and start-up background\nStrong technical engineering capability\nHSE and quality mindset\nOperational troubleshooting attitude\nInterface and coordination skills\nMaintenance and reliability awareness\nPersonal skills\nIn one sentence: we need a technically sound engineer with commissioning experience, operational awareness, HSE discipline, good interface capability and a hands-on attitude to support the project from engineering preparation through start-up and handover to operations.\nEducation: Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering Discipline Preferably Chemical or Mechanical\nExperience: 8-10 years of experience as a Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance Engineer role within FERTILIZER field/industry\nLanguages: English (Advanced) French & Arabic (nice to have)\nTechnical/IT Skills:\nWork in Task Force coordinating with the project team, the different companies of the JVs and the Client.\nAbility to support commissioning design reviews, commissioning execution plans, procedures, system dossiers, operating manuals, test-run procedures, HSE plans and start-up activities.\nStrong capability to read, interpret and comment technical documentation such as P&IDs, isometrics, plot plans, piping arrangements, procedures, manuals and engineering mark-ups.\nTechnical knowledge of FERTILIZER PLANT and Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start Up and Operation activities.\nKnowledge of the CMS, Engineering Systems and Tools (HEXAGON, WINPCS, ICAPS, etc.).\nKnowledge of PC, Windows, Office Software and IT implementation background.\nCapable to Read, interpret & prepare applicable technical information.\nWhat else should you know?
