At Saipem, your expertise helps shape the future globally for environmental sustainability.\nPurpose of the position:\nAs Commissioning Manager, you will be part of Commissioning Department within various projects.\nHow can you support us? Here are below your responsibilities:\nPlan, organize and manage pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and handover activities, ensuring execution in accordance with project requirements, procedures and HSE standards.\nDevelop and implement the Commissioning Execution Plan, commissioning procedures, schedules and resource requirements.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary commissioning activities, including Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Telecom and Process systems.\nEnsure commissioning requirements are properly incorporated during engineering, construction and system completion phases.\nReview engineering documentation to ensure commission ability, operability and maintainability of the facilities.\nCoordinate system and subsystem completion, testing, punch-list clearance, commissioning dossiers and final handover documentation.\nManage commissioning interfaces with Engineering, Construction, Vendors, Subcontractors, Client and Operations teams.\nMonitor commissioning progress, identify potential constraints and implement appropriate recovery and mitigation actions.\nCoordinate and supervise FAT, SAT, functional testing, performance testing and start-up activities, as applicable.\nEnsure readiness of systems prior to energization, introduction of hydrocarbons and start-up.\nLead commissioning personnel and ensure effective allocation of resources across the different disciplines and project phases.\nEnsure commissioning and start-up activities are carried out in full compliance with HSE requirements, applicable legislation, project specifications and international standards.\nProvide technical guidance to the commissioning team and support resolution of complex technical and operational issues.\nWhat are we looking for?\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline.\nTechnical Knowledge:\nStrong knowledge of pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and plant handover processes.\nStrong understanding of commissioning engineering principles, systemization and system/subsystem completion.\nKnowledge of Commissioning Execution Plans, commissioning procedures, testing requirements and completion documentation.\nAbility to review P&IDs, engineering drawings, system boundaries and relevant technical documentation.\nGood understanding of FAT, SAT, functional testing and performance testing.\nKnowledge of commissionability, operability and maintainability reviews.\nStrong understanding of HSE requirements applicable to commissioning and start-up activities.\nKnowledge of relevant international codes, standards and EPC project requirements.\nStrong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and interfaces with Clients, Vendors, Partners and Subcontractors.\nExperience\nExtensive experience in commissioning and start-up activities within Oil & Gas / Energy EPC projects, preferably covering large-scale offshore and/or onshore facilities.\nProven experience in a Commissioning Manager, Commissioning Lead or equivalent senior commissioning role.\nDemonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary commissioning teams and coordinating Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Operations interfaces.\nExperience interfacing directly with Clients, Vendors, Subcontractors and project management.\nExperience supporting projects through commissioning, start-up and final handover.\nLanguages\nProficient in English\nWhat can we offer to you:\nPermanent Contract - Project-based position\nCorporate Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package\nWorking Hours: 45 hours (9 hours x 5 days)\nOur One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals\nLocation: Qatar\nAdditional Information\nWe support your development!
