At Saipem, your expertise helps shape the future globally for environmental sustainability.\nJob Title: Electronic Engineer\nLocation: Offshore\nJob Description: \nWe are seeking an experienced Electronic Engineer to join our offshore fleet supporting some of the industry's most advanced heavy lifting, pipelay, and subsea construction vessels.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting onboard electronic, electrical, automation, communication, and control systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mission-critical assets used in complex offshore construction projects. \nKey Responsibilities\nPerform maintenance, fault finding, and repair of onboard electronic and electrical systems.\nSupport vessel automation, PLC, instrumentation, telecommunications, and control systems.\nMonitor and maintain power generation and distribution equipment.\nExecute preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance plans.\nEnsure compliance with HSE, Permit to Work, and electrical safety procedures.\nManage spare parts requirements and maintain maintenance records and technical documentation.\nSupport emergency response activities and contribute to vessel operational readiness. \nRequirements\nDegree or Diploma in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent.\nPrevious offshore, marine, oil & gas, or heavy industrial maintenance experience.\nStrong troubleshooting skills on electronic, electrical, automation, and communication systems.\nKnowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, data networks, and industrial control systems.\nGood command of English and ability to work in a multicultural offshore environment.\nPreferred Experience\nOffshore Construction Vessels (OCVs)\nHeavy Lift Vessels\nPipelay Vessels\nSubsea Construction Vessels\nDynamic Positioning (DP) systems\nAMOS or other CMMS platforms\nOffshore telecommunications and IT infrastructure\nFire & Gas systems and vessel automation technologies.\nWhat can we offer to you:\nCorporate Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance.\nOur One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.\nAdditional Information\nWe embrace diversity!
