Here below your responsibilities:\nExecute the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements\nTasks include:A - Development Technology know how and Commercial supportB - FeasibilityC - Bidding phase / Commercial proposal development\nBill of material\nPlot plan lay out proposal\nSupport lead to define man hour and cost estimateD - Project Execution\nE nsure the Piping and Layout engineering support to different projects\nEnsure the achievement of assigned goals and the fulfilment of project quality requirements and contractual obligations\nAnalyse technical documents (e.g. specifications, calculation notes, drawings) to assess the scope of the studies required and the potential risks\nSeek solutions which can bring overall savings to the project\nEstimate quantities or validate estimation done by other specialist of the team\nCheck all produced documents (internal or subcontracted) like design reports, technical specifications, drawings under responsibility\nWrite the Piping and Layout methodologies / Design Premises comprehensive of all necessary data, general and specific design guidelines\nAnalyse project technical documents to validate consistency between the budget, resources and means allocated for the work completion and the targets to be met\nOrganize the work of the team under responsibility\nDefine and follow-up the planning of resources mobilization\nMonitor and report actual progress including 3D / check for Discipline activities, including control of men-hours and delivered documents\nControl the input data for team activities and check/review all documents issued by the team\nAttend to internal review activities and inter-discipline check meetings\nProvide technical support to Project group\nProvide technical support to Procurement, Subcontracting and Construction activities included in the scope of work\nSupervise the writing of specifications and requisitions as well as technical bid evaluations\nInform on a permanent basis the Project Piping and Layout leader of any foreseen technical or financial or delay risk\nFeed the Piping and Layout Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the projectE - Construction and start up\nParticipate to test circuit verification\nField engineering during construction activities\nAssist, when necessary, engineering adjustment on site\nMaterial management at site\nWhat are we looking for?\nEducation: Master’s Degree in Engineering\nExperience: Minimum 5-10 years in Piping and Layout engineering\nLanguages: Proficient in English\nTechnical Skills / Knowledge with:\nOperation follow up / offshore & onshore\nEPC experience\nPerform technical tasks assigned by the Piping and Layout Lead, related with design, verification or study activities\nInterface with other Project Specialists, Designers and Draftsman\nCo-ordinate technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem\nIT Skills:\nOffice package (including Microsoft Project)\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills \nWhat can we offer to you:\nPermanent Contract - Project-based position\nCorporate Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package\nWorking Hours: 45 hours weekly (9 hours x 5 days)\nOur One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.\nLocation: Doha, Qatar\nAdditional Information\nWe support your development!
