Here below your responsibilities:\nMission.\nCoordinate technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem\nEnsure good stress analysis design of piping networks both at technical and cost level\nIssue technical part of inquiries, bid analysis and order for piping supports components\nRefer to project piping and layout lead for project activities and to head of piping flexibility section for technical solution and improvement\nTasks.\nThe Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements\nTasks include:\nA - Development Technology know how and Commercial support\nB - Feasibility\nC - Bidd ing phase / Commercial proposal development\nEstimate quantity and cost for critical support\nD - Project Execution\nBe responsible for the quality, respect of budget and respect of project schedule for piping flexibility analysi s tasks\nReview the Client technical documentation and requirements \nBe responsible for the design of all piping supports components \nIssue project piping flexibility (Stress analysis) specification and critical lines list\nPerform calculations of critical piping networks \nIssue loads to allow the design of pipe-rack and foundations\nIssue technical part of requisitions for all piping supports components required by flexibility analysis \nIssue technical bid evaluation for all piping supports components offers \nIssue technical part of requisitions for all piping supports components purchase orders \nReview and approve vendors documents \nMaintain project technical files and update Company standards \nPerform the inter-disciplines checking for the part of documents in accordance with the scope of piping flexibility section\nCheck sub-contracted discipline engineering documents in accordance with the scope of piping flexibility section \nCheck documents issued by piping flexibility engineers \nCheck the isometrics for construction of critical lines \nAssist P and ID section preparation for flexibility inputs of line list \nInform on a permanent basis the Project Piping and Layout leader of any foreseen tech nical or cost impact or delay risk\nCapitalize piping flexibility activities performed during the project\nE - Construction and start up \nProvide technical support \nAssist, when necessary, engineering adjustmenton site\nProjects coordination: provide input to Flexibility Engineer to harmonize design and methodologies\nProvide support to projects and procurements to solve non standards problems \nDefine the modification of department work flow and dep technical standards\nParticipate to the modification of company work flow and technical standardisation \nCollect project feed backs for continuous improvement implementation (Lesson Learned)\nParticipate to vendor and outsourcing qualification \nParticipate to project/company procurement strategy (Purchasing team)\nDevelop and scout tools for simplified design activities\nPlan, control and manage outsourcing engineering center.\nWhat are we looking for?\nEducation: Master’s Degree in Engineering\nBackground: Minimum 5-10 years in Piping and Layout engineering\nLanguages: Proficient in English\nTechnical Skills / Knowledge with:\nOperation follow up / offshore & onshore\nEPC experience\nPerform technical tasks assigned by the Piping and Layout Lead, related with design, verification or study activities\nInterface with other Project Specialists, Designers and Draftsman\nCo-ordinate technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem\nIT Skills:\nOffice package (including Microsoft Project)\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills \nWhat can we offer to you:\nPermanent Contract - Project-based position\nCorporate Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package\nWorking Hours: 45 hours weekly (9 hours x 5 days)\nOur One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.\nLocation: Doha, Qatar\nAdditional Information\nWe support your development!
