At Saipem, we embrace diversity as a driver of innovation and inclusion, while prioritizing people’s safety and environmental sustainability, even in the most challenging conditions.\nPurpose of the position: As Piping Quantity Engineer you will be part of the ENCAR - TUBFA - Fano.\nHow can you support us?\nA-Know-how, Research and Development Technology and Commercial Support\nProvide technical support on demand\nB-Feasibility Phase\nSupport the preliminary MTO estimation\nC-Bidding phase/Commercial proposal\nAnalyse and understand Tender documentation\nSet-up of material management software to be used\nSupport to project team for WBS definition\nDownload/Upload of piping MTO and MTO quality check\nAnalysis of missing piping component after piping MTO\nDefinition of typical piping assemblies\nDefinition and management of Piping Specialty item\nIssue of Purchase Requisition for Market Investigation\nElaboration of Piping Mechanical Quantity (quantity to be installed) and Piping Budget Quantity (quantity to be purchased)\nSupport to define engineering hours\nD-Project Execution and Operational Phase\nEnsure the Piping and Layout engineering support to different projects\nEnsure the achievement of assigned goals and the fulfilment of project quality requirements and contractual obligations\nSeek solutions which can bring overall savings to the project\nProvide technical support to Procurement, Subcontracting and Construction activities included in the scope of work\nFeed the Piping and Layout Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the project\nSet-Up of Digital MTO (if applicable)\nMTO review and reporting\nSupport to piping lead and piping engineer for mechanization activity and MTO quality check\nIdentify component with missing weight supporting Piping Material Engineer\nPlanning of Purchase Requisition issue according to project schedule, managing the whole cycle including Material\nRequisition (by Piping Material Engineer), Technical Enquiry Package, Purchase Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation (by\nPiping Material Engineer)\nIssue of Purchase Requisition\nAttach technical docs into SAP\nUpload into material management software of piping components' unit cost based on project criteria (original control budget, Project agreement, previous purchase order, etc.) and live update during project life\nElaboration of Piping Mechanical Quantity\nSupport to piping lead in preparation of piping material feasibility\nE-Construction and start-up\nMaterial Management at site\nF-Home office activities\nProjects support: provide input to discipline leads and quantity engineer to harmonize design and methodologies\nDefine the modification of department work flow and dept technical standards\nParticipate to the modification of company work flow and technical standardisation\nCollect project feed backs for continuous improvement implementation (Lesson Learned)\nParticipate to project/company procurement strategy (Purchasing team)\nDevelop and scout tools for design activities enhancement\nWhat are we looking for?\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Computer Science\nBackground: 2-3 years experience in Industrial field\nLanguages: English Intermediate\nTechnical/IT Knowledge: MS Office; Advanced level in MS Excel\nWhat else should you know?
