The role ensures full compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, company HSE standards, and applicable local/international regulations while driving a strong safety culture across all activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nHSE Management System\nImplement and maintain the HSE Management System in accordance with company guidelines and international standards (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001)\nEnsure site activities comply strictly with HSE plans, procedures, and corporate standards\nDevelop and execute HSE monitoring and audit programs\nEnsure proper documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement of HSE processes\nRisk & Safety Management\nConduct occupational risk assessments and hazard identification for all operational activities\nEnsure application of hierarchy of controls and safety critical elements\nMonitor high-risk activities including:\nWorking at height\nConfined space entry\nLifting and rigging operations\nElectrical works and LOTO systems\nInspection, Audit & Reporting\nLead HSE inspections and audits at site level\nParticipate in incident/accident investigations and root cause analysis\nMaintain HSE reporting systems, KPIs, and non-conformance tracking\nEnsure timely reporting of incidents and corrective actions\nTraining & HSE Culture Development\nIdentify training needs and deliver HSE inductions and awareness sessions\nPromote Life Saving Rules and safe work practices\nConduct toolbox talks and regular HSE meetings with workforce and subcontractors\nDevelop initiatives to strengthen HSE culture and communication\nEnvironmental & Emergency Management\nEnsure environmental protection measures and compliance with environmental legislation\nImplement environmental monitoring and pollution prevention programs\nParticipate in emergency planning, drills, and crisis management activities\nSupport spill prevention, response, and fire/emergency preparedness\nStakeholder Interface\nInterface with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters\nProvide HSE guidance and support to project/site management teams\nEnsure alignment between operations and corporate HSE objectives\nKey Competencies\nStrong knowledge of HSE management systems (ISO 14001 / 45001)\nExpertise in risk assessment and safety-critical activities\nExperience with construction, fabrication, and industrial operations\nStrong auditing, inspection, and incident investigation skills\nKnowledge of environmental legislation and emergency response systems\nAbility to manage HSE reporting systems and KPI tracking\nStrong communication and training delivery capability\nAbility to lead and influence site teams and subcontractors\nIT Skills: Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suit Package is essential.\nWhat can we offer you:\nFixed-term contract\nCorporate Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package.\nWorking model: 48 hours weekly, Monday-Friday.\nOur One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.\nLocation: UAE, Abu Dhabi\nAdditional Information\nWe support your development!
