At Saipem, your expertise helps shape the future globally for environmental sustainability.\nProject: Whiptail\nJob Title: Shipping and Customs Coordinator\nLocation: GUYANA - Georgetown\nJob Description:\nMission\nSupervise all Project transport and customs activities in direct coordination with Project Management, Expediting & Inspection and Project Logistics Manager/field logistics team in order to ensure that all materials/equipment are actually delivered to final destination in a safe and timely manner\nCoordinate Shipping & Customs Officers assigned to the Project, to run transport activities in an efficient and cost effective manner, according to Company best practices and procedures\nEnsure a proper tracking of Project shipping & custom activities through Company tools/software\nTasks\nLiaise with the Shipping and Customs Network and ensure coordination between Project management and the various interfaces involved in the supply chain process (i.e. Engineering, Procurement, Expediting and Inspection, Project Logistics \nManagers and their operational logistics team on site)\nPrepare Project packing, transport and customs scope of works, specifications\nSupport Procurement in defining the best delivery terms with vendors and, where required, subcontractors\nDistribute Shipping Instructions through the Project organization and through Shipping & Customs Network\nSupport Materials Management and Project Expediting Coordinators in defining and preparing Shipping and Customs documents\nTogether with Shipping and Customs Manager, identify Clients Project Insurances requirements and address related issues, promptly notify Insurance department when the value of a shipment exceed the Corporate Insurance deductibles and when a damage occurs during transportation\nIssue Purchase Requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluations for dedicated Project transport contracts\nGuarantee a proper flow of information and adequate tracking of Project transportation, updating Material Status Report or any other document required to monitor the status of the various shipments\nCoordinate Project transport and customs activities through the Shipping and Customs Officers assigned to the Project in direct liaison, where required, with Shipping and Customs Network\nWhere applicable, supported by Shipping and Customs Manager, Project Logistics Manager and Project contract management, liaise with Clients in order to coordinate the hand over, customs formalities and/or further transportation of \nCompany Provided Items to the Project logistics base according to Main Contract provisions\nWhat are we looking for?\nExperience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in the oil & gas industry and 3 in the same role.\nWhat can we offer to you:\nStandard duration of the contract: 12 months contract (subject to extension according to Company needs)\nWorking days/hours: 6 days a week at 10 hours a day\nCorporate Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance.\nOur One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.\nWe embrace diversity!
