Here below your responsibilities:\nMission.\nBe responsible for technical integrity and compliance with estimated costs and deadlines throughout the various engineering phases of the project\nPerform directly engineering tasks to guarantee the quality of the product for methods requirements\nTasks.\nThe Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements\nTasks include:\nThe Engineer executes the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements\nReport to Offshore Method Lead\nDraw up a general engineering schedule as stipulated by the contract to be revised by the Project\nIdentify technical problems and make the necessary technical decisions within the limitations imposed by contractual requirements\nDraw up definitions and detailed specifications of tasks and sub-tasks or supervise their drafting by other resources if requested\nDefine the materials or services to be purchased for engineering tasks within the allocated resource budget, in conjunction with own direct responsible\nApprove all the technical design necessary for the purchase and/or construction of products to be supplied to the Client\nParticipate to meetings to examine and, if necessary, audit the technical design, and take part in technical examinations with the Client. \nCost and scheduling decisions which influence contractual obligations or other functions must be approved by the Project Engineer (if any) and communicated to the Engineering Manager and Project Manager\nNotify own direct responsible and the Project Manager of any problems occurring with any other engineering areas\nPerform all the engineering verifications and calculations necessary for the methodology to be implemented \nSupervise and verify the drafting describing the methodology to be implemented\nSummarise and clarify in a manual all methodology activities, clearly identifying the show stoppers (if any). Transfer inside the manual all useful data derived by analyses performed by others\nEnsure that the operation people on board of the vessel receive all useful data in form of reports, manuals, drawings\nFollow up activities offshore or in any construction place deemed necessary by the project\nAll the above activities could be performed with different level of deepness for Project or Bid assistance performance\nParticipation to the offshore activities with the role of field engineer, when requested both in the yards and offshore during the vessel operation campaign\nBe responsible to verify equipment and materials\nWhat are we looking for?\nEducation: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Offshore, or Pipeline Engineering (or equivalent).\nBackground: Minimum 8 years of offshore subsea pipeline pre-commissioning experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.\nLanguages: Strong communication skills in English.\nTechnical Skills / Knowledge with:\nEPC Experience\nCompany Processes and Procedures\nProject Management Tools & Methodologies\nIn-depth knowledge of DNV-ST-F101, API standards, and other relevant international codes.\nStrong technical understanding of pre-commissioning equipment (suction pumps, flooding pumps, chemical injection units, compressors, air dryers).\nProven ability to manage large teams (30+ personnel) during pre-commissioning phases.\nFamiliarity with QE LNG project specifications and offshore operating practices highly preferred.\nIT Skills:\nOffice package (including Microsoft Project)\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills\nWhat can we offer to you:\nPermanent Contract - Project-based position\nCorporate Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package\nWorking Hours: 45 hours weekly (9 hours x 5 days)\nOur One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.\nLocation: Doha, Qatar\nAdditional Information\nWe support your development!
