Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it is present in more than 50 countries around the world and employs about 30,000 people of over 130 nationalities.\nProject: LTA\nJob Title: Vessel Operations Engineer\nLocation: KSA\nJob Description: \nMission\nProvide engineering reviews, address operation, advise (directly and indirectly) best practices both in the tender and in the projects to the Project Operation Manager (or delegate) to assist in the achievement of project/tender objectives, according to the plan/procedures developed by the engineering project team\nTasks\nThe Engineer shall ensure compliance with QA/QC&HSE requirements and:\nReview project documentation reporting errors/omissions and suggest improvements considering advices from vessel operations management\nAssist in liaising with Client Representatives/subcontractors\nAssist in monitoring progress of work/site conditions and promptly advise if changes to project schedule/execution sequence may occur\nWhen onboard support Vessel Management Team in planning/execution of work/project contractual&technical requirements\nParticipate to resolution of any technical problems\nSupervise execution of diving, precommissioning, post trenching and hook-up\nProvide operational input/support to onshore project teams\nLiaise with Installation Engineers during preparatory/mobilisation/installation phase\nReview installation procedures/loadout/seafastening plans for material/structures offshore transportation to ensure safe/timely installation\nEnsure completeness of construction materials/consumables lists liaising with Project Coordinator for timely procurement/delivery\nCoordinate with Mobile Equipment, Asset, Piptec, ROV, Trenching, precommissioning, Hook-up to ensure that all necessary personnel/equipment are timely available\nWitness/inspect pre-rigging/loadouts/seafastening activities\nIdentify any deviations from procedures and manage as requested\nCoordinate with Fabrication Dept for loadout of fabricated structures/installation aids\nProvide input/feedback for engineering close out report to improve departmental standards/working methods/guidelines\nLead project planning efficiency optimisation (installation aids re-use, tensioner pad change-outs, equipment mob/demob, ROV tooling consistency)\nBe involved in project HAZIDs/HIRAs and Track of tasks\nVerify that relevant schedules reconcile with present vessel productivity\nAssist with project management specific third-party contractors confirming all technical/operational contractual aspects are observed\nProvide technical assistance to all offshore personnel to permit work is implemented in accordance with approved procedure and Company’s minimum standard\nProvide all necessary technical briefings to offshore personnel ensuring that overall project working/safety philosophy is fully understood by all personnel\nAssist vessels mobilisation/demobilisation to ensure that all equipment is handled in correct manner and everyone involved is aware of all safety/technical aspects of operation\nNote any contractual variations during project ensuring all necessary documentation is in place to support commercial claims disputed upon project completion and manage as requested\nVerify that procedures are correct and most efficient/cost effective solutions are followed\nTake part in most critical phases on board installation vessel/preparation yard\nConfront with the vessel for all most critical subject to assure a correct transfer from engineering to installation\nDistinguish rapidly missing points/optimisation of equipment used on board/in yards\nPrepare/record/participate in completion of feedback reporting (Lessons learnt, Offshore debriefs, end of project reporting)\nPromote/organise meetings for risk evaluation/revision of procedures with vessel management, ensuring that all work is carried safely and in accordance with HSE policies/procedures\nActively participate in Job Safety analysis/Risk Assessments and ensure all findings/recommendations are implemented\nReview Daily progress reports\nProvide technical support to commercial department\nCoordinate/consolidate all inputs from multiple disciplines (Operations, Asset, Engineering) to support development of commercial proposal\nBe involved in preparing installation vessels’ standard methods\nAssist, guide and train junior engineer\nWhat are we looking for?\nEducation: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Engineering (preferred)\nLanguages: English Language skills required\nTechnical Knowledge: Experienced in vessel mobilization, offshore installation, heavy lifting\nWhat else should you know?
