Our passionate team is committed to providing learners with a high-quality education and in-demand skills.\nWe are seeking a temporary salaried instructor who is a dynamic team-oriented individual to instruct within the Heavy Equipment Technician Programs. The candidate will be a team player demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to learner success. This position will appeal to an individual who seeks the challenges and opportunities to work with learners.\nHow you'll contribute\nPrepare and present lessons to learners\nInstruct, supervise, and coach learners in a classroom and shop environment\nProvide ongoing support, guidance, and feedback to learners by assessing and evaluating learner progress and achievement\nWork collaboratively with colleagues to create an engaging and positive work and learning environment\nContinuously develop professionally by enhancing both technical knowledge and instructional skills\nPerform related duties as assigned to meet the emerging needs of SAIT and its students\nQualifications & Eprerience\nYou must hold an Alberta Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate or equivalent with interprovincial (Red Seal) status\nYou must have at least five years’ experience as a journeyperson in either off-road equipment and/or on-road vehicles or equivalent.
