We know that tomorrow’s requirements are today’s opportunities, and we are here to design lasting solutions for pressing challenges.\nJob Summary- Facility Design Project Manager\nThe Project Manager will develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, leading the development of design plans in collaboration with engineering teams. You will identify and mitigate project risks and coordination issue, lead multi-discipline project teams, including engineers, designers, and subconsultants and effectively communicate with clients, staff, management, and other stakeholders.\nResponsibilities:\nProject Planning and Development:\nDevelop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget\nLead the development of design plans in collaboration with engineering teams\nIdentify and mitigate project risks and coordination issues\nMaintain project schedules and requirements\nTeam Leadership:\nLead multi-discipline project teams, including engineers, designers, and subconsultants\nProvide mentorship and guidance to team members\nEffectively communicate with clients, staff, management, and other stakeholders\nClient Management:\nBuild and maintain strong relationships as the primary contact for Owners and clients\nManage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction\nResponsible for design-build pursuits in collaboration with contractor partners\nContract Administration & Financial Management:\nEnsure compliance and delivery of project contracts, including scope, requirements, and submittals\nManage subcontractor relationships and performance\nMonitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgets and deadlines\nQuality Assurance:\nExecute quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet design and construction standards\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in facilities design fields, including electrical, mechanical, or telecommunications.\n3-5 years' experience in either facilities design or construction project management\nPMP not required, however willingness to obtain one within one-year of start date is a plus\nStrong leadership and interpersonal skills\nExcellent communication and presentation skills\nStrong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines\nDetail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment\nMust be a US Citizen - Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role\nLocation:In Office - Charlotte, NC\nCompensation and Benefits:\nCompensation: $80-100K /year compensation is determined based on experience and other factors.\nBenefits:\nThis role is also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive U.S. based benefits package, including:\n Medical, dental, and vision insurance\n 401(k) with company match\n Paid time off and company holidays\n Wellness programs and employee assistance resources\n Professional development support\nFor more information, visit our full benefits overview here-Salas O'Brien benefits\nAbout Us:\nFounded in 1975, Salas O’Brien is an employee-owned engineering and professional services firm focused on achieving impact for our clients, our team, and the world.
