Our specialized experience includes design for data centers, healthcare, science and technology, high-rise buildings, clean energy, education, and other building types as well as structural and building sciences, infrastructure asset management, advanced robotics, and more.\nOur technical expertise is paired with an exceptional team of business development, human resources, finance and accounting, information technology, and marketing professionals, all of whom play a key role in bringing our commitments to life every day.\nJob Summary: The candidate will Lead and provide technical reports for all Fenestration Field Testing efforts while complying with all industry testing standards.\nGeneral Duties:\nLead and mentor assistant technicians with all testing.\nAssist with the proper setup and removal of all testing equipment.\nAlways establish and maintain a safe working environment.\nMust use power and hand tools to construct items needed in the testing process.\nProvide excellent customer service and detailed technical reports for each testing procedure.\nTravel is a requirement. Often work at local sites is conducted requiring minimal travel. At times employees are required to travel over short periods of time. The company incurs the Per diem cost for lodging, food, and transportation costs during that time.\nQualifications:\nEducational Background: High School Diploma or equivalent\nExperience: Construction experience is preferred.\nSkills:\nMust always follow all safety and quality standards.\nAbility to read and comprehend blueprints (A Plus).\nAbility to use measuring devices and make precise cuts to wood using hand and power tools.\nAbility to formulate and solve simple mathematical equations.\nMust possess a valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record.\nMust have reliable transportation. Punctuality is mandatory.\nPossess basic computer and smartphone skills. Possess and display excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nCertifications:\nFenestration Associate Certification is required for this position.\nOSHA 10 for Constrution Certification is required for this position.\nPhysical Requirements:\nLift up to 50 lbs.\nWork from heights.\nWork outdoors in both hot and cold climate conditions.\nPossess and display excellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nLocation: Charlotte and/or Atlanta\nTravel: Up to 50%\nCompensation & Benefits:\nThe expected base salary range for this role is $42,500 - $50,000 USD per year.
