Qualified candidates will meet with clients, project teams, code officials, contractors, and others to address mechanical issues to develop effective working relationships. The project clientele includes higher education, commercial, health care, industrial, and large campus facilities.\nIn this role, you will:\nDevelop the HVAC systems design of a given project based on scope of work and/or client RFPs. \nProvide engineering design, evaluation and planning of complex mechanical systems for variety of project types.\nPerform Load/Energy calculations with software such as Trane 3D Plus and IESVE. \nDevelop reports/studies. \nWrite/edit project specifications. \nConduct existing building surveys and documentation of existing HVAC systems. \nProvide construction administration services. \nYou will be a great fit if:\nYou have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering\nYou have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on design experience \nYou are knowledgeable in the design of HVAC systems \nYou have knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines \nYou have experience as a project manager leading a multi-discipline design team.\nYou have an excellent work ethic and attitude \nSkills/abilities:\nGood communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work \nAbility to lead and work as a team \nRequired proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and MS Office \nAbility to travel \nLocation: Madison, WI (On-site)\nTravel: Yes, up to 10%\nCompensation & Benefits:\nThe expected base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 USD per year.
