This role requires accountability for overall project delivery including:\nInitial owner scope development.\nCoordination throughout the Design/Engineering phase.\nPreparation of the project scope, budget, schedule and capital funding documentation.\nCoordination of competitive bidding and related procurement requirements.\nProject financial management including budgeting, change management, invoicing, cash flow forecasts and accruals.\nCoordination of all construction-related activities throughout the duration of the project including utility outages.\nCoordination of all start-up/commissioning requirements.\nCoordination of close out requirements including compilation of project documentation, financial asset allocations, setup of maintenance assets and preventative maintenance schedules, and project financial closeout.\nProject types include interior renovations, building envelope, building mechanical and electrical equipment, site utility infrastructure, life safety and security systems, and material handling equipment. Sets clear expectations and allows project team members the flexibility to add value. \nRequirements and Preferences\nApplicants should have a minimum of a BS in Project Management or a technical related field such as Engineering, Construction Management or Facility Management, and at least 5 years of related experience. A working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required at the time of hire.\nThe Physical and Ergonomic Requirements of this position are as follows:\nLifting/carrying: Carrying light loads related to field measurement equipment, equipment cases weighing 15 lbs. or less.\nDexterity: Ability to type using a keyboard with relative efficiency, ability to make handwritten notes and sketches indoors and outdoors at industrial plant and construction sites at any time of the year.\nWalking/Climbing: Ability to use multi-level stair towers and rung ladders unassisted.\nVisual Acuity: Ability to discern single line and 3-dimensional computer images representing objects being designed or drafted.\nHearing: Ability to hear safety alarms and signals while wearing hearing protection.\nPhysical exertion: Ability to walk up to one mile on industrial plant and construction sites outdoors at any time of the year.
